Our Story

The founders and visionaries for the Joyful Living Joyful Giving Foundation understand what it means to be limited and lacking opportunities and they have their hearts set on changing the trajectory for children and families living in poverty in Canada and around the world.

They are determined to shatter the stigma that accompanies those living in poverty…the idea that “good things in life were only for other people.” They want to ensure that children and families are given an opportunity to thrive.

 The founders and founding Board of Directors take seriously the charge and responsibility that is given in God’s word in Zechariah 8:23 – Because God has promised to bless us abundantly, we should be a blessing to others.

 Helping people help themselves and offering a hand to those that are working their way out of poverty is at the heart of the foundation’s reason for “why” we exist. The Joyful Living Joyful Giving Foundation is committed to affect change.

Mission 

• Focus on Canadian charities  that reach out to those that are marginalized. We want to provide a way out or forward for those who live with the stigma that comes from poverty, familial dysfunction/breakdown, or trauma caused by external events, circumstances.
• Our generosity will enrich the human experience with hope, strength and JOY and ALWAY will provide opportunity and a a “way forward.”
